The Wilcox formation is a water drive sandstone reservoir of Eocene
Age that is prevalent in Southwest Mississippi and East-Central
Louisiana. To give the reader a visual description, it can be described
as a vast tributary system of the Mississippi River. It is most commonly
found productive in LaSalle, Catahoula, Concordia, and Avoyelles Parishes,
Louisiana and Jefferson, Adams, Franklin and Wilkinson Counties,
Mississippi. KFG has taken a 1500 lease in Concordia Parish, Louisiana
with a one year primary term. KFG is now looking to promote at least one
6000' Wilcox test on the acreage. This project would serve to compliment
the Company's efforts at Fayette in Jefferson County, which has Wilcox oil and
gas reservoirs as well as Lower Tuscaloosa reservoirs.
